Who we are

The Massive Earth Foundation (MEF) is a non-profit organization (Section 8 company), based in New Delhi, India, with the vision to effect research and actions for the Pollution Reduction /Climate Change Industry. MEF’s focus areas are Clean Energy, Clean Mobility, Sustainable Agriculture, Waste management, and Access to Water & Sanitation. MEF believes that the Pollution Reduction industry needs research and support to innovation to promote innovations/solutions.
MEF’s activities are centered around the following:
Awareness activities– MEF, through its extensive network of local and global partners, runs awareness activities on Pollution and related issues.
Innovation Challenge– A crowdsourcing program to incentivize solution discovery around massive problems such as air pollution, plastic waste, chemicals in food and many more.
Massive Earth Summit– One of the largest events in South East Asia on Sustainability & Pollution Reduction. The Massive Earth Summit brings together thought leaders from diverse fields to share their views and insights on Pollution-as-Resource mindset.
Research & Reports – MEF undertakes independent research in its focus areas of clean energy, clean mobility, smart & sustainable agriculture, access to water & sanitation and the sustainable built environment. It has released a report on Delhi Clean air titled – what is choking Delhi”
Set up Pilot Projects – MEF, with support from its corporate and other partners, will set up pilot projects in its focus areas, for validation/ Proof of Concept of innovation to solve the massive problems
MEF has the capability to generate awareness, source innovation, engage with governments and execute impact-driven projects.

MEF has the capability to generate awareness towards massive problems like plastic waste. Its outreach is enhanced by its partner network – academic & research institutions, multilateral institutions, international and Indian foundations, startup ecosystem, investors, governments and media. MEF, through events like its flagship event Massive Earth Summit, works towards creating awareness towards the massive problems and the urgency of finding solutions.
Innovation Sourcing
MEF, through its partner GoMassive Earth Network and India’s startup and innovation ecosystem, has the capability to source disruptive startups and innovations that are working towards solving the massive problems. MEF reach into the startup ecosystem is supported through GoMassive’s network with institutions like Invest India, Startup India, startup incubators and accelerators, academic and research institutions, industry bodies, etc.
Strong Execution Capability
MEF’s team is experienced and consists of professionals with a cumulative experience of more than 50 years. MEF has a network with various stakeholders such as governments, regulators, NGOs, academic & research institutes, corporates, startup ecosystems, media, etc.
